MHS Auto Tech Program Accepting Donated Vehicle for Projects

The Mineola ISD Auto Tech department is seeking donations of vehicles for students to practice and sharpen their skills through relevant, hand-on learning.  Mineola ISD will accept vehicles that are 1997 or newer and have not been wrecked. Cars must come with a title and be restorable in order for a receipt to be issued.  The Auto Tech department will restore and sell the donated cars in order to provide funds to purchase parts and supplies for future projects.

The MHS Auto Tech Career and Technical Education (CTE) program has continuing to grow and projects that up to 28 our students will earn one or more ASE certifications this current school year.

The Auto Tech students are also able to perform other automotive maintenance and repair such as oil changes, wheel alignments, and other services for a minimum fee.  Contact instructor Shelby Turner for information and scheduling.
