The Board of Trustees of Mineola ISD would like to announce their vacancy for Superintendent of Schools.  The Board of Trustees is searching for an exceptionally qualified administrator to lead their district.  Mineola Independent School District has more than 1,600 students and encompasses approximately 90 square miles.  Mineola schools demonstrate "Pride through Excellence" with successful academic, athletic, band, agricultural and theater programs.  MISD is classified as a 3A District.

 

Mineola is a thriving community located at the intersections of highways 69, 80, and 37 in Wood County.  The population is 5,611.  The city is proud of its heritage and values its warm, country atmosphere.

Qualifications:  Master’s degree with Texas Superintendent Certification required.  Successful experience as a Texas school Superintendent is preferred. 

Salary:  Competitive and negotiable

Interviews:  First round anticipated the week of December 2nd.  Second round anticipated the week of December 9th

Start Date:  February 3, 2020
