Mineola FFA placed 3rd in the State Agricultural Advocacy Leadership Development Event Contest. Students competed against all schools ranging in size all the way to 6A schools. The state of Texas consisted of over 269 Agricultural Advocacy teams. Mineola FFA team members included: Sunni Ruffin, Ava Johnson, and Claudia Barriga.
The Texas FFA is the nation’s largest state FFA associations with a membership of more than 137,000 active FFA members. FFA programs teach skills in leadership, career development and personal growth. FFA gives students the opportunity to practically apply classroom knowledge to real-world experiences through local, state and national competitions.
