2020 Summer Strength & Conditioning




Dates:              June 8th-July 30  (July 3,7,8,20,21 All facilities closed)

When:             Monday-Thursday, (Friday: only HS Boys Football and HS VB)

Times:             All Boys (7-12) - 8am -10am workout, 10:30 -12:00 sport skills

                        All Girls (7-12) - 9am sport skills, 10am-12:00 workout

Location:        Meredith Memorial Stadium (Boys) and High School Gym (Girls)



COVID19 guidelines are in place to insure the safety and health for all student athletes


  • Athletes & Staff are required to self screen daily, prior to attendance
  • Staggered start times and locations to promote safe distancing
  • Drop off/Pick up locations have been spread out to ensure proper distancing
  • Boys at Stadium Parking Lot
  • Girls at HS Gym
  • Locker rooms and other indoor areas will be off limits and closely monitored
  • Hand sanitizing stations have been added throughout weight room facility to provide easy access
  • All weight room equipment will be disinfected continuously throughout the workout
  • Athletes have been broken up into smaller groups to stay under the 25% indoor capacity and to maintain safe social distancing requirements
  • ALL ATHLETES MUST BRING THEIR OWN WATER. Water will not be shared or provided per UIL.



People with COVID-19 have had a wide range of symptoms reported – ranging from mild symptoms to severe illness. Symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus. People with these symptoms may have COVID-19 and are encouraged to stay home:

  • Fever or chills
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Fatigue
  • Muscle or body aches
  • Headache
  • New loss of taste or smell
  • Sore throat
  • Congestion or runny nose
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Diarrhea
