MUSIC
A little bit about our music program at Mineola Primary:
Music students in Mineola Primary have fun learning in an energetic, and cooperative environment. They learn about various musical instruments and their musical families as they fit into the complete symphonic sound. Mineola Band performs for our students to conclude our musical instrument family study. Students learn musical terms and apply that as they learn on boom whackers, hand bells, xylophones and rhythmic instruments.
Our third graders will perform a Christmas Musical and every spring, all of our second graders perform a musical program teaching them about inclusiveness and working together as a team. Our first graders perform as a grade level in a Veteran's Day program to honor our soldiers and learn about patriotism in song. Our kindergarten students perform for their graduation in the spring in a tribute to their wonderful time here at Mineola Primary.
