Mineola Independent School District has more than 1,580 students and encompasses approximately 90 square miles. Mineola schools have Yellow Jacket pride developed through successful academic, athletic, band, vocational agricultural and theater programs. Mineola High School is a TEA Recognized campus and the Primary, Elementary, and Middle School campuses are rated Academically Acceptable. MISD is rated by TEA as an Academically Acceptable School District.
