BOARD SEEKS COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT FOR SUPERINTENDENT PROCESS
The Mineola Independent School District (ISD) Board of Trustees has employed Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) Executive Search Services to assist with the search for a new superintendent. The Board has requested that school personnel and the public be involved in developing qualifications and characteristics of the person the Board should seek to become the new superintendent.
Community meetings will be held from 3:45 p.m. until 6:45 p.m. on Thursday, January 29, 2014, in the Board Room of the Central Administration Building at 1000 West Loop 564. Each session last for 45 minutes. They begin at 3:45, 4:30, 5:15, and 6:00. The Mineola ISD Board of Trustees will have a session from 7:00 to 7:45 open only to Trustees.
Staff, parents, students, and patrons of the district are encouraged to participate in building the profile to be used in the search for a new superintendent by attending the community meetings on the 29th of January and/or by completing the survey using the link listed below.
