At MIS we work hard...but we also play hard! Congratulations to our medalists in our inaugural recess soccer tournament! Students created teams and participated in a single elimination tournament during recess (and came up with some creative team names!). Last Friday we celebrated our students' accomplishments at our 9 Weeks Awards Assembly. We also presented medals and ribbons to the students that helped us win back-to-bank UIL Academic Championships!

Happy Homecoming Week! We are so excited to see everyone's Yellowjacket Spirit this week. Reminder of our dress up days and early release on Friday. Due to early release at 12:00, we will not be open to visitors for lunch on Friday (7th). The community parade will start at 3:00 downtown. Go Jackets!
