Josh Snook

To our Middle School Family:

I wanted to extend a big welcome to Josh Snook as our new Assistant Principal. His family is already a part of the Yellowjacket family and it is with great pleasure that we bring him into the hive!

Mr. Snook writes:

Greetings! I'd like to take this opportunity to thank you for selecting me to join Mineola ISD! I'm looking forward to great things at a great district!

I've had the privilege of serving in education for 22 years, with the last 14 in administration. I began my career in Huntsville, Texas teaching Science and Social Studies in grades 5-10 and coaching football, basketball, track, and soccer. When I married my beautiful wife, Melissa, we moved to the Tyler/Longview area where I've been serving as an administrator at Winona ISD for the past 14 years.

As a member of the campus leadership team, I look forward to establishing lasting relationships with our faculty, parents and students with the common goal of enrichment and improvement. I bring with me a servant's heart and a genuine calling to push our students to be the best they can be. It has always been my belief that, by building academic grit and providing social emotional tools, we can open life-changing opportunities to our students.

In my personal time, I work with our church's children's ministry writing and acting in skits as well as spreading the Word. I also enjoy spending time with Melissa and our two children, Madison and Jackson, playing and traveling.

Sting 'em, Yellowjackets!
