In accordance with Senate Bill 13, Mineola ISD is committed to keeping parents informed and involved in the selection of new library books.

On this page, parents and guardians can:

• View proposed library book purchase lists for each MISD campus.

• Review these lists for 30 days after the MISD Board of Trustees has been notified.

• Submit concerns or feedback about any book under consideration by emailing or providing a written report to the campus principal.

Parents: If you have any concerns within the 30-day posting window about books listed for the campus your child attends, please email your concerns to your child’s campus administrator.

After the 30-day review period, if no parent concerns have been submitted, the Board of Trustees will vote to approve the purchase of the listed books.

We appreciate your partnership in ensuring transparency and in supporting our students’ access to high-quality, age-appropriate reading materials.
