We invite parents/guardians of our Little Jackets to join us on Tuesday, September 15 for Open House (Come and Go). This is a great time for your Little Jacket to show you around their classroom, their school, and show off their work!
Due to COVID, only 2 guests per student, all visitors over 10, must wear a mask. Temperature checks and sanitizer are required upon arrival. Social distancing is required.

MPS Coming to School Procedures
First of all.......THANK YOU for a wonderful beginning to school!
Beginning Monday, August 17 parents/guardians will no longer be allowed to walk in with students. ALL students arriving through the car line, must be dropped off via car line or walked to the side of the porch WITH a parent/guardian. Temperature will be checked and hand sanitizer given before students will be permitted in the building. We will have staff on hand to assist students to their location. This process will begin at 7:15, please do not drop students off before this time. Breakfast is available for ALL primary school students and students will be allowed to go to the cafeteria for breakfast after temperature and sanitizer. Due to COVID, we are not accepting items for drop off (lunches, water bottles, blankets, etc....). Students must have all their belongings with them upon arrival.

MPS First Day of School Procedures:
Parents/Guardians are welcome to walk their students in Thursday, the 13th and Friday, the 14th. We are at limited capacity, so please refrain from bringing extra family members. ALL members of the family will be screened upon arrival. This process will begin around 7:15, teachers will be ready to receive families beginning at 7:30. Please keep your drop off visit brief to allow room for others. Our students do not have to wear masks, but adults and children over 10 will need to wear them.

Good evening everyone,
There are no easy solutions in accommodating everyone for our upcoming fall athletic events, especially Friday Night Football. However, we have worked closely with Athletic Directors, Band Directors, and neighboring Superintendents to come up with the best possible plan we could. I am sure it is by far from perfect. If you have questions or have better ideas on how we can address any of these topics, please don't hesitate to let me know.
