The Mineola Education Foundation is proud to how their first annual Winter Wonderland pageant at their Winter Wonderland Market on November 16, 2024. Join them at the Mineola Civic Center and shop over 35 vendors, visit food trucks, watch live stage performances and more.
All proceeds from the market and pageant will go directly back to the staff and students of Mineola ISD in the form of grants for items above and beyond the scope of a normal classroom.
Freshmen students (Class of 2028) will have their TJC Promise signing on September 30th at MHS in the Multipurpose beginning at 6:00 pm. Freshmen students and parents will also receive information about the TJC Promise Scholarship for MHS graduates.

MHS will have its annual required Title I meeting on October 7th and 9th at 4:00 in the library.

It's time to start planning for the Junior/Senior prom. Jr/Sr class dues must be paid in order to attend. Class dues allows the committee to be able to purchase items needed for a successful event. If dues have not been paid, please pay as soon as possible.

NEW- Recent communication with the Texas Board of Nursing (BON) indicates the need for school nurses to have a signed physician order to administer over-the-counter OTC medication to students. ALL medication (Prescription and Over-the-counter) will require a completed MISD Physician Authorization/ Parental Consent for Medication form OR an order from a healthcare provider before it can be given at school. This includes any as-needed medication your child may need throughout the year (for aches/pain, stomach discomfort, cough, etc.). The order can be either a signature on the medication form or another written order.
If your child has a medical condition that requires an action plan (asthma, allergies, seizures, diabetes, etc), please have your healthcare provider complete the form/plan prior to the first day of school. MISD Physician Authorization/ Parental Consent for Medication forms are available by contacting your school nurse.
