8th Grade Dance happening now!
Water Day is May 20th! Students need to bring their lunch (or cafeteria will provide a sack lunch), money for concessions, towel, a change of clothes, hats, sunscreen, sunglasses, water shoes or tennis shoes. You may bring a soaker gun but can only use it in the designated area. Students must wear bathing suits with a colored T-shirt and shorts if going down the water slide -- no white t-shirts. Athletic shorts are allowed.
5th Grade is in the house! MMS enjoyed hosting our soon-to-be 6th graders for a tour of the school today. Can't wait to have these guys next year!
Mineola Principles of Ag students will be showcasing their Agriscience Posters tomorrow at 5 pm at the Multi-purpose Building. Please feel free to swing by and see what the students have been working on the past few months!

Middle School Water Day is May 20th! There is no cost to participate, but you might want to bring money for concessions. Bring towels, sunscreen, and water shoes. You may wear swimsuits under shorts and t-shirts. You can bring your lunch or the school will provide a sack lunch.

Early Release Days are Thursday and Friday, May 26th & 27th. Lunch will be at 12:00 Noon. Students will be released at 12:30 p.m. If your student does not want to eat lunch at school, then you may pick them up at Noon.
5th Grade Parent Information Night is Monday, May 16th at 6:00 p.m. in the Middle School Cafeteria.
Middle Awards Ceremonies are on May 12 & 13th! 8th Grade - May 12th at 2:30 p.m.; 7th Grade - May 12th at 1:45; 6th Grade - May 13th at 2:45 p.m.
Eat out and support the Skate Club and The Grind program! Mineola Dairy Queen will donate 10% of all sales between 5:00 and 9:00 pm, Thursday night, May 5th.
Attn: 8th grade parents! Please send a baby photo of your 8th grader to be used for the 8th grade end-of-year slideshow. The students always enjoy trying to guess who the baby is! You can email to bakerd@mineolaisd.net or send with your child to be scanned. Group candids are also needed. You may send as many group photos of your child and friends through the years as you like, but only one baby photo is needed. Thank you!
