Attention 8th grade parents! We will have a meeting, Monday, April 3rd at 6:00 in the Middle School cafeteria to begin the planning of the 8th grade dance. The 8th grade dance is scheduled for May 12th. We look forward to seeing you on April 3rd as we begin planning for the celebration of our 8th graders!

Attn: 8th Grade! Baby photos are needed for the 8th grade end of year slideshow. Spring Break would be a good time to look for your favorite picture and bring it back to school with you! You may submit more than one group photo but only ONE baby picture is needed. They can also be e-mailed to bakerd@mineolaisd.net.

This meeting will be at 6:00 p.m. in the multi-purpose building at the high school to explain state and local requirements for graduation as well as the course selection process and 4-year graduation plans. Your child will tour the high school CTE courses on Friday, January 27th to have a better understanding of their choices for next year. Friday, February 17th, 8th grade students and parents are required to meet one-on-one with high school counselors following student led conferences to write 4-year graduation plans and select courses for their freshman year.
