Good morning everyone!
Mineola ISD will be closed on Thursday, February 24th. Most roads are very passable at this time, but any elevated service is extremely risky. The weather forecast continues to show temperatures not rising above the freezing mark until well into the afternoon and a chance of wintry mix throughout the day.
We will plan on resuming school at our normal time on Friday, February 25th.

Just a quick update before you call it a night concerning the winter weather and the possibility of school delays or closures. The roads are fine right now, but a team of employees will be checking on travel conditions early Thursday morning.
We will make another announcement at 5:30 a.m. to update you. If you haven't done so, please download the Mineola ISD Mobile Application on your smartphone or be looking for our update on the district's social media pages or website at that time.

Congratulations to the Varsity Boys on their win over the Quitman Bulldogs in the District 13-3A finale. The Jackets will play Mount Pleasant Chapel Hill on Friday to determine who will be the #1 seed in the playoffs. Game time has yet to be determined.
Area Championship Playoff information has been announced! The Lady Jackets will be taking on the Jefferson Bulldogs.
