Congratulations to the students at Mineola Intermediate School who were recognized today at the first Society of Admirable Yellowjackets assembly of the school year. These students were honored for the leadership traits of Growth Mindset and Character. A special thank you to Nicole Thomas for her leadership, and to the Rotary Club of Mineola, Texas, for their continued partnership. #LearningTodayLeadingTomorrow

Mineola ISD is excited to invite the members and coaches of the 2016 State Champion Mineola Yellowjacket Football Team back home for a very special event at our new Mr. Glen Dossett Career and Technical Education Center!

This year marks 10 years since an unforgettable group of Yellowjackets made history and brought a State Championship home to Mineola. We want to bring the team back together, celebrate that incredible accomplishment, reconnect with teammates and coaches, and give our champions an opportunity to see what the next generation of Mineola students will experience inside our new CTE Center.

Happy Human Resources Professional Day to Lenzie Watkins. Thank you for the dedication, support, and care you bring to Mineola ISD every day!

Good morning, everyone! A train is currently stalled on the tracks in the Mineola area and all cross arms are down and could be for some considerable length of time. Buses 1, 2, and 14 will be delayed this morning as they travel around Loop 564 to pick up kids. Parents that are coming from the south side of the Mineola area to drop off kids are encouraged to use Loop 564 to avoid delays. Thank you, Cody Mize Superintendent

Huge shoutout to the IT Department for creating solutions and helping all employees and students at MISD be successful.

Let's pack out Meredith Memorial Stadium tonight for the Home Opener!

We are looking forward to honoring our 2016 State Championship Football Team and their families on Friday, October 16th at 6:00 p.m. at the Glen Dossett CTE Center at Mineola High School.

This is only the beginning of a special night honoring these former players and their incredible accomplishment of winning a State Championship 10 years ago.

Please help us share the word!
