October is Principal Appreciation Month and we are thankful for all of our Campus Principals and Assistant Principals for the work that they do day in and day out to make our District a better place.

In an effort to keep our students, athletes, and families as safe as possible at Meredith Memorial Stadium, please follow the guidelines below.

- Students and adults will NOT be allowed on the track or field before or during the game without a District-issued Field Pass. For those needing a Field Pass, Chief Castleberry will ensure that these individuals are taken care of.

- Students should NOT bring footballs or other sports equipment into the stadium.

- Students in 3rd Grade and younger must be accompanied by an older sibling or parent/guardian to the restroom and/or concession stand.

Mineola ISD Adult English Program
Mineola ISD will offer a class for non-English speaking or limited English speaking adults. This class will provide basic instruction in reading, writing, vocabulary development, pronunciation and communication skills for daily living.

Mineola ISD will have our District Improvement Plan Beginning of Year Meeting on Wednesday, September 17th at 4:00 pm. The meeting will be at the Mineola ISD Administration building, 1695 W. Loop 564.

The Concession Stand at Meredith Memorial Stadium is fully equipped with an Air Conditioner for all of our hard-working volunteers. This work was completed by our Mineola High School students who are studying courses in HVAC and Electrical Systems with Mr. Ramirez.

These students are learning critical skills that can lead to gainful employment upon completing High School or building their skill base for advanced studies in this industry.

We are looking forward to celebrating our Seniors today, prior to the first home football game versus the Arp Tigers.

The Senior Pep Rally starts at 3:10 p.m.. Senior Recognition will begin at 6:30 p.m. at Meredith Memorial Stadium prior to the kick-off of tonight's football game at 7:30 p.m..

All Campus and District Offices are closed on Monday, September 1, 2025 for Labor Day. We hope all of our Students, Faculty, and Staff enjoy their day off.

Good morning, everyone!

Due to the power outage earlier in the day, the main breaker has had issues resetting at the Primary School. This is the only campus that has been impacted. We currently have power in the cafeteria and gymnasium, so all of our students will be fed lunch.

At 1:00 p.m., we are going to make it optional for parents/guardians to pick up their children for dismissal at the Primary School. Activities are planned for students throughout the afternoon, and bus dismissal will be at the same time as normal. If you are unavailable to pick up your child early, you can pick them up at regular dismissal time as well.

The phones are currently down at the Primary Campus as well, but any pick-up questions or different arrangements can be organized through the District Administration Office by calling (903) 569-2448.

Good morning, everyone! We experienced a brief power outage across the District this morning. The Mineola ISD Police Department is in communication with local law enforcement and SWEPCO. Power has been restored at the present time, but we will keep you updated through the day if we experience any more issues. Thank you to all of those who worked so quickly to restore power!
