Mineola ISD would like to give a huge shoutout to the Meredith Foundation for donating funds to allow Mineola Intermediate School and Mineola Middle School to have brand new cafeteria tables that also convert to benches with backrests for awards ceremonies and performances. The Mineola Meredith Foundation has been serving others in the Mineola community since 1958. A huge thank you to our maintenance crew and custodial staff for unloading and unpacking all 100 tables.

The weather appears to be shaping up nicely for an outdoor graduation on Friday, May 22, at 8:00 p.m. Gates will open to the public at 7:00 p.m. for the event, and golf cart transportation will be available for those needing assistance to the seating area.
The Graduation Ceremony will be livestreamed on the Mineola ISD Facebook page for family and friends who are not able to attend in person. The Band Boosters will also be selling water and candy to guests attending.
We look forward to a great event to honor the Class of 2026!

It was a special evening as the Health Science Program of Study recognized many juniors and seniors for earning nationally recognized certifications. The night was made even more meaningful as Mr. McMahon, fellow coworkers, students, and parents/guardians came together to honor Mrs. Robinson for her outstanding dedication in the fields of medicine and education. While Mrs. Robinson will retire in just three days, the impact she has made on her students, colleagues, and community will continue far beyond her remarkable teaching career.

We are so proud of the Lady Jacket softball team advancing to the State Semi-Final round of the UIL State Playoffs! Due to travel and logistics, Mineola ISD will have an Early Release Schedule on Wednesday, May 20th, and Thursday, May 21st. Dismissal will start exactly 4 hours before the normal dismissal time for planning purposes.
This will not impact events scheduled after school on each of our Campuses. Campus Principals will communicate with our parents and students about any changes to their Campus Schedules as soon as possible.
We hope everyone has a great week as we close out the 2025-2026 school year!

We had a great first day of Kindergarten Roundup at Mineola Primary School. Our current students in PreK received a decodable reader, activity book, crayons, pencils, and a letter from Mr. Mize. Parents/Guardians that register their next year MISD kindergartener during Kindergarten Roundup Week will also receive the same family engagement supplies.
The School Health Advisory Council (SHAC) for the Mineola Independent School District will hold a Public Meeting on April 15, 2026, beginning at 1:00 PM through 1:30 PM at the Mineola ISD Administration building.
