Re: COVID-19 Update
Good evening everyone! This will be our final COVID-19 update in this form. The District has created a new COVID-19 Dashboard that you can follow to see the number of new cases each week. The Dashboard can be found here:
https://www.mineolaisd.net/page/covid-19-dashboard
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact your child's Campus Office or the Administration Building.
Have a great weekend,
Cody Mize
Superintendent of Schools

Good morning everyone! We are making preparations now to prepare for the winter weather expected this weekend and into next week. Most importantly we are thinking about how this might impact school operation. Here are a few things to make note of as we prepare together:
1.) If you need a hotspot to access the Internet, we have a limited quantity available. Please call your child’s campus before the end of the day so that you can arrange to pick one up if you are in need.
2.) We are scheduled to be off on Monday due to President’s Day. If the weather forecast holds true, expect to have some time to play in the snow during the day.
3.) Tuesday-Friday is where this may get tricky. We have enough minutes built into our calendar that if we needed to, we could take off Tuesday and Wednesday and not have to make the time up. If we get to Thursday and the roads are still a mess, we would move to Virtual Instruction on Thursday and Friday if need be. We are currently working right now to get devices into the hands of those kids who will be in need.
4.) Be flexible and ready for change. (We survived 2020, nothing new right?) We will communicate as early and often as possible as we watch this forecast play out.
If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out by phone.
Thank you,
Cody Mize
Superintendent of Schools

Good morning! Due to icy road conditions we will be postponing the start of school today until 10:00am. Please stay safe!
