Q: How did the 2017 bond proposal compare to the 2022 bond proposal in regards to tax rate impact?
A: The 2017 bond's proposed tax rate would have been $1.67.
The 2022 bond's proposed tax rate would be $1.20.
Q. How does the $1.20 proposed tax rate compare to other school district's in East Texas?
A. Tyler ISD - $1.28
Winnsboro ISD - $1.27
Van ISD - $1.27
Hawkins ISD - $1.22
Winona ISD - $1.22
Election Day is Saturday, May 7th with polls opening at 7:00 a.m. and closing at 7:00 p.m.. Polls are located at the Methodist Ministries Center and the Mineola City Hall.

The 2022 Mineola ISD Bond Proposal was designed around three guiding studies.
1.) Facilities Review- This report addresses the facility needs in the District.
2.) Demographic Report- This report provided us with information concerning future growth in the District.
3.) Tax Rate Impact Analysis- This report addresses the bonding capacity and how much impact proposed facility needs may cost the taxpayers of our District. This tax rate impact analysis also looked at a comparison of other Districts in East Texas as well.
