An active power line is currently down on West Patten Street between the Mineola ISD Transportation Building and Mineola High School. All traffic leaving the High School will be routed to Loop 564. The Mineola Fire Department is on scene and the utility provider has been notified.

Friday, February 14 is a Professional Development day across the District with many student led conferences taking place. We are thankful for this time to spend with our student's families and reviewing their academic progress.
There are many reasons why Mineola ISD is a great place to teach. One of those reasons is the plan that Mineola ISD has adopted to offer the Teacher Incentive Allotment to teachers throughout the District. The Teacher Incentive Allotment rewards high-performing teachers who demonstrate excellence during their formal observation with their Campus Principal and improve students' academic performance with financial bonuses.
Currently, 54 teachers at Mineola ISD receive designations as part of this program. Designations range in award from $4,296 to $16,516 and are awarded each year for five years on top of their current salary. To date, Mineola ISD has paid out over $475,000 in bonuses to outstanding teachers!

The deadline to submit applications for the May 2025 Board Election is Friday, February 14th at 5:00 p.m. in the Mineola ISD Administration Office. There are 3 full-term positions on the ballot this election cycle.
