A very special thank you to our friend Ray Barron and his team at Freedom Defense Training/Consulting for continuing to work alongside the Mineola ISD Police Department and other staff members as they continue to train to keep our students and staff members safe in the event of an active shooter situation.

The Mineola High School Chick-Fil-A Leader Academy and several Faculty and Staff Members will assist The Wood County Marine Corps League and others in placing wreaths on veteran’s graves tomorrow morning at Roselawn Cemetery. A brief ceremony will be held at 11:00 a.m.
Just a reminder that on Friday, December 16th, car riders will be released at 12:00 noon and buses will run at 12:20 p.m..

Today marks the 81st Anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor that triggered the United States entering World War II.
Did you know that 304 residents of the Mineola area served in the Armed Forces during World War II? 8% were killed in action across the European and Pacific Theaters.

The monthly food distribution from the East Texas Food Bank is today, Wednesday, November 30th in the Stadium Parking Lot from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon.
