Just a reminder that all Campus and District Offices are closed on Friday, April 12th, 2024. We hope everyone enjoys this last long weekend before the final push to the end of the school year.

Good morning everyone!
Currently, our phone lines are not receiving outside calls. We are working on resolving this issue as soon as possible. Please email your child's office staff and we will return your call as soon as possible.
Thank you!

MISD District STAAR Dates

We had a lot of fun this afternoon around the District during the total solar eclipse!

If you have electronic items that you need to get rid of, today is the day! Donations can be made to the Rotary Club of Mineola to support a good cause.

This is Assistant Principal Appreciation Week. Join us in celebrating how blessed we are to have these men serving our district!

Mark your calendars! This is going to be a great event.

We still have room for a few more teams to join the fun and help raise money for the Mineola-TJC Promise Scholarship. Please contact Mrs. Xan Roberts at xanroberts@gmail.com for more information.
Thank you in advance!

Mineola ISD will be closed on Friday, March 29th, 2024. We hope all of our students, Faculty, and Staff enjoy the long weekend.

The Wood County Junior Livestock Show is off and running this week. Bring the family out and enjoy watching the livestock shows, followed by the Sale of Champions on Friday evening at 6:00 p.m.

We are less than 2 weeks away from the Great American Eclipse on Monday, April 8th from 1:40 to 1:44 p.m. here in our part of East Texas. The next total solar eclipse will occur in 300+ years.
Mineola ISD will be open and ready for our kids to experience a great educational opportunity. A special thanks to the Rotary Club of Quitman and Mineola for donating all of our students and staff members the appropriate glasses to view the eclipse if the sun is out that day.
The safety of our students, faculty, and staff is always the most important thing, so we will have an additional security presence with us in the District that day. Transportation at the end of the day may be the tricky part, so please plan to expect delays if we have an influx of people in our area to view the eclipse. Transportation delays were the most common issue we have read about in after action reports from other areas that have experienced a total solar eclipse.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact your child's campus or the Administration Office if we can be of assistance. We appreciate all of your support.
Last week the Mineola FFA Agriculture Mechanics Team competed in the Houston Livestock Show's contest and brought home four Blue Ribbons! Congratulations to our students and staff on all of their hard work.

We are looking forward to hiring a great candidate to join the Mineola ISD Police Department and serve at our new Primary School. Please help us spread the word.

The Mineola Primary Faculty and Staff and the Meredith Foundation Board Members had an opportunity to tour the new Primary Campus today. Exciting times ahead!

The Mineola Education Foundation donated $83,000 last night at the March School Board Meeting to support teachers and students through innovative classroom grants. We are so thankful for their partnership!
