One of the construction projects as part of the 2022 Mineola ISD Bond Proposal is the renovation of Mineola Elementary School to the Mineola ISD Career and Technical Education Center. Mineola ISD's Career and Technical Education Program currently offers the following course of studies for students. - HVAC and Electrical Systems - Automotive - Health Science - Education - Agriculture Science - Agribusiness -Animal Science - Video, Computer Coding, and Graphic Design - Welding - Fire Academy/EMT Early voting begins on Monday, April 25th - Tuesday, May 3rd at the Quitman Courthouse Annex from 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. each week day. Election Day is Saturday, May 7th, 2022 from 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.

The Mineola Education Foundation donated $68,000 last night to Mineola ISD as part of their grant giveaways. A date will be set soon for the Prize Patrol to surprise a lot of of well deserving teachers. We appreciate our Mineola Education Foundation so much! #community

Early voting for the 2022 Mineola ISD Bond Proposal will begin on Monday, April 25th - Tuesday, May 3rd at the Courthouse Annex in Quitman. Election Day is Saturday, May 7th, 2022 with polls opening at 7:00 a.m. and closing at 7:00 p.m.

Please join us in congratulating Mr. Jim Best on being named the new Director of the Sound of the Swarm and Director of Fine Arts for Mineola ISD. Mr. Best is pictured here with his wife Alison. Mr. Best spent time in Mineola ISD under the leadership of Mr. Chris Brannan and received his first director position at Winnsboro ISD. Under Mr. Best’s leadership, their band thrived and received 5th at the State Marching Contest last year. We are so grateful to have someone of his capability leading our program in the future! We are so thankful for our friends and supporters at Smith Chapel Methodist Church here in Mineola! Last Saturday they organized a fish fry to help raise money for the Sound of the Swarm’s State Championship Rings. Last night they presented a donation to the Mineola ISD Board of Trustees for over $4,000 to go towards this purchase. Thank you so much to all of those who have helped raise funds to support these very deserving kids and directors. A date has been set for ring delivery. #thankful #community #statechampions

It was a beautiful day yesterday for the finals of our District Track Meet. Congratulations to the Varsity Jackets on winning a District Championship and congratulations to the Varsity Lady Jackets for finishing 2nd. We have numerous athletes qualifying for the Area Meet!

Smith Chapel United Methodist Church will be hosting a fundraiser for the Sound of the Swarm's State Championship Rings on Saturday, April 16th. Thank you for all of your support in helping raise money for a great group of kids!

Please join us in congratulating Buddy Ruffin and Jace Tyndall on earning a spot in the Texas High School Bass Association’s State Fishing Tournament. They will be competing with teams around the state in May on Lake Texoma. Anybody else out there wish fishing was a school competition when you were in school? Congratulations guys!

Dear Parent or Guardian, P-EBT benefits will be provided for the 2021–2022 school year. If your child is eligible, benefit amounts will vary because it is based on each student’s COVID-related absences, virtual attendance and school closures. As part of the 2022 Mineola ISD Bond Proposal, a new Primary School Campus would be constructed to serve students in Head Start through 3rd Grade. The last campus that was built in Mineola ISD was completed in 1986. Early voting starts on Monday, April 25th.
